Why will the EDHEC Celebration be in September?

For the last three years, the graduation ceremony has taken place late May/early June, about a year after the end of the study programme. This has been criticised by some people for being too overdue. This particular time of year is less than ideal for organising such an event because of its many public holidays and the start of the oral sessions for admission to the Master programme. Moreover, a few students every year are unable to fulfil all academic requirements in time to graduate with the rest of their class but must wait until the following year. They therefore take part in a ceremony with another class. This year, we have decided to invite all the 2017 class to a single event. You will thus be able to celebrate the end of your studies together. All the features from past years will be present, except that on the day of the ceremony, you will also be receiving a certificate in addition to the "pledge".v
